Liquid Sky Lacquer Summer Beach Party Swatch And Review

Hello my dears! Today I have a fun and sparkly post for you featuring Liquid Sky Lacquer's Summer Beach Party Collection which will be released for sale in her shop tomorrow, Saturday May 31st, at 2:00pm PST. This collection consists of 9 polishes that range from nudes to super bright neons, all with gorgeous holo added in. This post will be pretty picture heavy since its a big collection, but I hope you enjoy them all anyway. So without further delay, let's check out these amazing polishes.

First up is "What Was Your Name Again?" which is a bright neon pink holo. I swatched this one first because I'm a pink freak, as we all know haha. I was actually extremely surprised that I was able to get away with just one coat for this beauty. Yes, that's right... one coat. The formula and dry time were perfect and I will for sure be wearing this one over and over again. The brightness of this polish is intense and I love it. It did however make capturing the holo slightly difficult... but that didn't stop me from trying. :-)

Next up we have "Did You Get His Number?", which is a gorgeous purple holo. This one was a little sheer so it took me three coats to get it opaque, but with a color and holo payoff like this one, I'm okay with that. This one is so beautiful. Great formula and dry time as well. Three coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "Where's My Lime?", which is the most beautiful neon lime green holo I have ever seen in my entire life. Makes me want to grab a corona with lime and chill by the pool all summer long. Formula and dry time were great on this as well. Two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next is "Turn Up", which is an amazing lemon lime neon yellow with beautiful holo. Can we all just take a moment to bask in the amazing beauty that is this polish? I am absolutely in love! I feel like I need sunglasses to look at this beauty. Formula and dry time were great on this one too. Two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "Sizzle" which is a bright red orange holo. I don't know about some of you, but I don't own too many redish polishes, so this one with the added holo in it will be cherished by me for a long time. Its absolutely stunning and I love it. Formula and dry time were great here as well. Two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next is another of my favorites just because its so unique in my opinion, and that is "Lost My Top", which is a nude holo with a frosty shimmer to it. Gorgeous!! I only used one coat with top coat for my pictures, but if you don't like a slight visible nail line(VNL), you could do two. I personally liked the look of this at one coat though.

Next up is another beautiful polish called "Beach Bonfire", which is a coral holo. Um excuse me while I die. This polish is so pretty and I do NOT own a color like this in all my thousands of polishes. When I say color, I mean the color itself, not even including the holo. The holo makes it even that more amazing. Love! I used two coats with top coat for my pictures and formula and dry time on this were amazing as well.

Next is a beautiful orange holo called "Papaya Smash". Perfectly named. I love the orange color of this polish. The formula and dry time were great and the color and holo payoff are fantastic. Yummy, yummy goodness. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Last but certainly not least, is "Strawberry Mojito", which is a yummy strawberry pink holo. I'm so glad Carolyn decided to add this into the collection because it is so beautiful. It definitely belongs as a part of this collection. Formula and dry time were great. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

To conclude, there is not a single polish in this collection that I am not absolutely in love with. All the colors are extremely gorgeous and bright and that holo adds the perfect touch to complete them. Carolyn did an amazing job. Which ones are you thinking that you absolutely need in your life? Zoya Summer 2014 Magical Pixie Dusts Swatch And Review

*Press Sample*

Hello my loves! I told you I'd have the Zoya Summer 2014 Magical Pixie Dusts up soon!! And here they are!! When I first heard about these I was completely in love. Who doesn't love a little sparkle in their lives? After being super excited for the Spring Magical Pixie Dusts I began to look at swatches and reviews where people had stated that they were too chunky for them and that they snagged on everything. So I passed on them at the time. Then I was presented with the opportunity to review the new summer shades so I figured why not try them myself and form my own opinions. That is exactly what I'll be sharing with you today.
Since I don't have the spring collection to compare them to I'm not sure whether they're the same formula or not, but I didn't find these too chunky at all, and honestly didn't really have much of an issue with snagging. Once these dry completely everything seems to settle down a lot more and the hexes don't seem to stick out quite as much as when you first apply them. I'm actually quite satisfied with the end textured result.
All three shades are meant to be worn with out a top coat, but if you just can't stand a textured polish you can apply 2-3 coats of a good top coat to smooth every thing out and they are still super pretty. All of my pictures are three coats ( two thin coats and then a dabbed thicker coat) both with and without top coat. I used two coats of top coat for the pictures with it. So with all of that being said, lets get to the polishes.

First up is "Arlo", which is a gorgeous purple jelly base, with the famous Zoya pixie dust texture, with added holographic hexes. This one is really pretty both with and without top coat, but adding top coat will really bring out the purple jelly base and make those glitters shine. So this is a definite win for anyone whether you like textures or not. :-)

Secondly we have "Bar" which is the perfect name for this polish because it really reminds me of a sand bar with the sun making the sand sparkle. Its a beige gold jelly base with the famous Zoya pixie dust texture, with added holographic hexes. This one I think I prefer more with top coat, but again I love it both ways.

Lastly, is "Ginni" which is a gorgeous soft pink jelly base with Zoya's famous pixie dust formula, with added holographic hexes. This one was my favorite out of the three and I actually like it most without the top coat. Adding top coat just tends to darken up the polish more and I like the lighter pink with out the top coat.

All in all I enjoy these polishes. The formulas on these weren't too difficult to work with. I probably could have done two coats had I brushed on the first coat and then dabbed on the second coat, but I'm extremely satisfied with them all. These are available on Zoya.com for $10 each. Be sure to check out Zoya on Instagram @zoyanailpolish and Facebook Zoya Nail Polish And Treatments for all news and updates. Also be sure to follow all of my social media outlets listed below! Cdb Lacquer Curiouser and Curiouser & Off With Her Head Swatch And Review

Hello my loves! I'm back today with a fairly new indie brand, CDB Lacquer. I have two polishes from her "A Land Full Of Wonder" Collection which was inspired by Alice In Wonderland. I picked "Curiouser And Curiouser" and "Off With Her Head" because I am obsessed with white crelly polishes, and I love the glitters in these. So let's just get straight to the polish shall we?

First up is "Curiouser And Curiouser", which is a white crelly polish with baby blue, yellow, and black glitters. The formula on this was great, with no need for fishing for any of the glitters. Dry time was also really good on this one. I really love the way the glitters look together in this base. It's perfect. I used three coats with top coat for my pictures.

The second polish I have for you is "Off With Her Head", which is a white crelly with red, yellow and black glitters. I am loving the red and black hearts in this one. Especially since I didn't have to fish for them. I turned my bottle upside down before I used it and actually had to put hearts back when putting this on. I love that! Great formula and dry time as well. This one is for sure my favorite of the two I purchased. I used three coats with top coat for my pictures here too.

After trying these two polishes I definitely want to snag the others in this collection when I get some extra cash. The formulas are perfect and the glitter combos are beautiful. If you like these two polishes make sure you check out CDB Lacquer on Instagram or Facebook for swatches of the rest of the collection. If you want to purchase these, they are available in her shop with limited quantities today. You'll find her shop here where these polishes retail for $8 full size and $4 mini. Thanks so much for reading! Be sure to follow all of my social media outlets as well to keep up with all things Polished And Shined. :-) Until next time, happy polishing!

Polish Addict Nail Color Trust Me I'm The Doctor Collection

Hello my pretties!! Today I have an amazing collection to share with you that incorporates a few of my favorite things, Polish Addict Nail Color, Dr Who, and holo prettiness!! I'm so in love with this collection that when I first ordered from PANC I didn't have these in my cart and was going to wait until my next order to grab them all. So I placed my order, but five minuets later... I was back in their store adding this whole collection to my order. I just had to have them right away and didn't want to miss out on them. You shouldn't want to miss out on them either... So let's go ahead and get to the polish and show you why.

First up is "Bad Wolf" which is a  "champagne white scattered holo with gold holo dust and gold shimmer". I really love the gold shimmer in this. It was hard to capture the scattered holo with the gold shimmer but it's there, I promise, and it's beautiful! I did three coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "Time Lord" which is a "pastel blue scattered holo with sapphire blue holo dust and blue shimmer". This one is super pretty in person and for whatever reason I could not capture it perfectly to show that. I really do love it though. I did three coats with top coat for this one as well.

(Indoor light box)

(Indoor sun light)

Next up is "Bananas Are Good" which is a "pastel yellow scattered holo with gold holo dust and gold shimmer". This one is awesome! This is the first yellow polish that I am absolutely in love with!! I didn't want to take it off but I had to finish swatching lol. I'll be wearing this again soon! Three coats plus top coat for my pictures.

(Indoor light box)

(Indoor sun light)

Next up we have "Hello Sweetie", which is a "pastel purple scattered holo with purple holo dust and gold shimmer". I don't know why it was so hard for me to capture the holo in most of these but it is honestly the best part of all of them. They are absolutely gorgeous in the sun light and this is no exception. Love it. Three coats plus top coat.

(Indoor Light Box)

(Indoor Sun Light)

Next is another beautiful polish called "Are You My Mummy?", which is a "pastel pink scattered holo with gold holo dust and pink shimmer". Absolutely to die for! You know me and my pinks! So you won't be surprised when I tell you this was one of my favorites in the collection. Three coats plus top coat, but I really could have gotten away with just two on this one.

(Indoor Light Box)

(Indoor Sun Light)

And lastly is another of my favorites from this collection called "Planet Gallifrey" which is a "pastel green scattered holo with gold holo dust and green shimmer". So, so, SO pretty! This one may be staying on for awhile. :-) I also used three coats with top coat for this beauty.

(Indoor Light Box)

(Indoor Sun Light)

All in all I really, REALLY love this entire collection. Pastels with holo? I'm in! All of these had good formulas and the dry times were very good as well. I'm so glad I caved and went back for this entire collection. Which ones do you think you need now? :) Each of these retails $11 for full size and $5.50 for minis in their shop which you can find here. Make sure you follow Polish Addict Nail Color on Facebook and Instagram for news and updates. And as always follow my social medias as well. Thanks again so much for reading!! <3
