Sweet Heart Polish Sweet Bites Collection

*Press Sample*

Hello, hello, hello my favorite readers!! Today I have for you a brand new (and fabulous) collection from Sweet Heart Polish called the Sweet Bites Collection. I'm always on the hunt for a nice pastel, and all six of these polishes are great! Most of them have an almost crelly type formula, but build up so nicely and I am completely in love with them all. So let's not delay any further, and let's get to the polish!

First up is "Peach Cobbler", which is a GORGEOUS pale peach crème/crelly polish. This, hands down... is my absolute FAVORITE out of the collection. I was mad at myself for swatching it first because as soon as I put it on, I did NOT want to take it off. I need a full size of this baby because I KNOW I will be using it often. There are a lot of all caps words for this polish... sorry, but its just that good :) The formula on this was great, I had no issues. I used three coats with top coat for my picture below.

Next up is "Pineapple Whip", which is a pale yellow crème/crelly polish. This my friends, is the perfect pastel yellow. Its absolutely stunning, and the formula on this one was great as well. I used three coats plus top coat for my picture below.

(Indoor Light Box)

Next up we have "Key Lime Pie", which is a pale lime green crème/crelly polish. This polish makes me want a big slice of key lime pie. One of my favorite desserts.... and this prego can't have it until after this baby comes. BOO!! I love this polish too, are you seeing a trend with these? Really pretty, and a great formula here as well. I used three coats with top coat for my picture.

Next up we have "Pillow Mints", which is a very pretty pale mint crème/crelly. This is probably my second favorite out of the collection because the color is just so perfect and delicate. Again, just as the others, the formula was great. I used three coats with top coat for my picture below.

(Indoor Light Box)

Next up is "Blueberries & Cream", which is a pale blue crème/crelly polish. This one has the sheerest formula out of all six, but the formula on it is still great. I used four coats with top coat for my picture below.

I really liked the sheerness of this polish, so I decided to do a crelly sandwich with this one. You could probably manage a crelly sandwich with all of these colors, but this one would definitely be the easiest. I layered one dabbed coat of Forever Polished "Baby Unicorn Sneeze" over my four coat swatch, and then did one more thin coat over that to sandwich in the glitters. I really like how this looks. Very Easter/Springy and I love it!

The last polish in this amazing collection is "Huckleberry Cheesecake", which is a pale purple crème/crelly polish. I really like this one too. I'm sorry, I know I've said that about every polish, but they really are all great! Formula on this one, just like all the others was great. I used three coats with top coat for my picture below.

I wanted to do something fun with these polishes, so I decided to try my hand at doing a watermarble with them. I thinned them out just a tad to make them a little easier to marble with, and then I used all six polishes to marble over a white base. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

So, I'm sure it goes without saying, even though I've said it a few times, but I really love this collection. Cassandra knocked it out of the park with the formulas on each and every one of these. Some pastels tend to be streaky and these are not, at all. You must, must, MUST get at least a couple, if not all of these babies. You can purchase these in the Sweet Heart Polish shop by clicking here. Also, be sure you are following them on Instagram @sweet_heart_polish or Facebook to be kept up to date with all things Sweet Heart Polish. Let me know in the comments below which one, or ones you are in need of from this collection. I hope you enjoyed this post! I know I did! :) Until next time, happy polishing!

Emerald And Ash Cherenkov Radiation and Boot Season

Hello my favorite readers! Today I have a beautiful post for you that features two polishes from Emerald & Ash. I met the creators behind this company at Cosmoprof last year and they are the cutest, sweetest couple ever! These are my one and only Emerald & Ash polishes, but I have about 5 of their cuticle oils. Which are so amazing! They have so many scents to choose from, so you should check out their cuticle oils as well!! Lets get to the polish though!

First up is "Cherenkov Radiation", which is a cobalt blue jelly polish, with a gorgeous shimmer and a slight touch of holo. This is by far my favorite out of the two I have for you today. The blue is so bright and pretty and the shimmer with slight holo just makes it pop! This is described by Emerald & Ash as a jelly polish, but its a very opaque jelly. I only used two coats with top coat for my pictures and my nail line is almost completely covered. I love it!! Formula gave me no issues. Its perfect!

The second polish I have to show you is "Boot Season", which is an awesome brown holo with copper flashes. This is an awesome color for fall, or if you just enjoy a beautiful brown polish. The formula on this was great, just like the other. I had no issues with it. The only issue I did have with this particular bottle was that my brush was a little bit wonky. It wasn't so terrible though because I was still able to make it work, so really... no complaints here. I will definitely be reaching for this color again come fall time. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

So what are your thoughts on these two beautiful polishes? Both of these are available for purchase by shopping their store here. You can also follow them on Instagram @emeraldandash or Facebook to keep up to date with new releases, sales, or just info in general. I think I need to make a few more polish purchases soon... in desperate want of "SNAFU"! I hope you enjoyed todays post! Leave a comment below letting me know what you think. Until next time, happy polishing!

This last week or so has been crazy busy, packed with baby doctor appointments, my best friend having her baby and needing me to care and watch her two year old for three days, and all around just life in general. I wanted to get this post up a lot sooner this week than now, but alas, life happens. But here we are! Today's post features two STUNNING holographic polishes from Cupcake Polish. These are my first Cupcake Polishes and they are fantastic! So let's not delay any further!

First up is "Its Our Slime Now", which is a neon lime green holographic polish. This is such a fun, bright polish and it is absolutely gorgeous on the nail. Formula on this was great, as well as great dry time. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures below. I am in love with this color.

Cupcake Polish has snuck its way into one of my top favorite indies because of these two beauties. I need more of them in my life. I need money first lol. If you would like to purchase your own Cupcake Polish, you can do so through their store link here. Unfortunately these two are no longer available, but there are plenty of gorgeous holo polishes still available for purchase on their site. I'm eyeing a couple from the new Queen Collection myself. :) Be sure to follow them on Instagram @cupcakepolish and Facebook for news and updates. As always, I hope you enjoyed this post!
