Dashing Housewife Oh My Flake Collection

Hello readers!! Today I am super excited to share with you an amazingly bright, fun, and beautiful collection from Dashing Housewife Polish called the Oh My Flake Collection. This is a neon flakie collection and I am SUPER impressed with all of them! DreAnn knows how to make some neon pretties! I was even able to get a good watermarble with these pretties and used all 7 to marble my accent nail in all of my swatches. I do want to apologize in advance for my fingers looking a little rough and dry in the macros. This gestational diabetes and having to wipe my fingers with an alcohol swab four times a day has really dried them out more than normal. It's only really noticeable in the macros though, so I apologize. Enough about that though, let's not delay, and get right into the polish!

First up is "Oh My Gold", which is a red-coral neon base with rose gold flakies and gold shimmer. This is my favorite color from the collection. While it was my favorite color, the formula was a little different than the others because I ended up with some lumps that I couldn't figure out if it was pigment or flakies or what. I gave it a good shake though and managed to get rid of most of them. So you may need to give this one a good shake before using, or it may have just been my bottle lol. Its very pretty and the flakie and shimmer colors mixed in with this shade are absolutely perfect. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "Oh So Dashing", which is a neon pink base with purple flakies and a beautiful shifting shimmer. Pink, oh how I love thee! I have NEVER been disappointed by any of DreAnn's pink polishes. They are always so beautiful and fun. This one fits right in with my pink favorites from her. Formula on this was great, with absolutely no issues. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "Orange You Glad" which is a neon orange polish with blue flakies and a blue shimmer. So bright and gorgeous!! When it comes to neons I get a little excited sometimes, but this polish puts me over the top. Three years ago if you would have asked me if I would ever wear neon orange, I probably would have looked at you crazy, but I absolutely love neons now, orange especially and this one is great! Formula was easy to work with, no issues. I used two coats plus top coat for my pictures.

Next up we have "Sun Shining", which is a neon yellow base with pink flakies and a red shimmer. I'm thinking that this just may be my new favorite yellow EVER! I am absolutely in love with it! Great formula, beautiful sparkle, what more could you ask for? I used two coats plus top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "No Luck Needed", which is a neon green base with blue flakies as well as blue shimmer. This polish was actually part of her St Patrick's day trio from last year, but it has been reformulated and was the inspiration for the rest of this collection. I have the original "No Luck Needed" too, but figured, if its been reformulated, its different, so I need the new one too. Total legit reasoning right? Formula on this one was great as well. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next we have "Holy Ships Ahoy", which is a neon blue base packed with shifting flakies. I'm in love with this one, and it photographed so well for me! Formula was great on this as well. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures below.

Lastly for the Oh My Flake Collection is "PLUMtastic", which is a neon purple base with blue and purple flakies. This one is SO pretty! I like purple polishes a lot, even though I don't find myself reaching for them as often as some other colors, but I know for sure that I will reach for this one more than some of my other purples. Its the perfect neon purple and the flakies make it even more beautiful. Formula was great on this one, with no issues to report. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Like I said before, I am so impressed with this beautiful neon collection. I mean, you've got to love a neon that doesn't need a white base to pop and that only needs two coats to be opaque. Who doesn't love that? Plus it is very possible to watermarble with these as you can see from my accent nail which is an added bonus. I've also seen that these stamp fairly well too, so if you like stamping, these work too. So many reasons to love this collection. Which ones are your favorites? Let me know in the comments below. If you are looking to purchase any of these, there are currently only three available to purchase until DreAnn can do a restock. Those three are "PLUMtastic", "Holy Ships Ahoy", and "Orange You Glad". You can get those three by visiting the Dashing Housewife Polish shop here. If you're looking for any of the other colors you should make sure you are following on Instagram @dashing_housewifepolish, or on Facebook to keep up to date with restocks and releases. I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I did! As always, until next time, happy polishing!

Chaos And Crocodiles Swatch And Review

Hello readers! Today I've got some amazing Chaos & Crocodiles (C&C) lacquers to share with you. These two polishes are my first from C&C and I wish I had all the money in the world to buy more, because I love these two! Let's not delay and just get to the polish!

First up is "Interrogation" which is a coral leaning orange linear holographic polish that was a part of the secret agent collection. When I received this polish last year at cosmoprof my jaw dropped just looking at the bottle. When I put this baby on my nails I could not believe how amazing it was! Not only is it SUPER opaque, but its absolutely stunning! Formula was perfection! I used two coats with top coat, but I definitely could have gotten away with one. I think I did two coats just out of habit. Love!

The second polish I have to share today was a cosmoprof exclusive polish, but I wanted to share it anyway. This is "Operation Vegas" which is an amazing deep purple linear holographic polish. I am dying at the gorgeous holo in these polishes, and I don't know why but I really think dark purples look AMAZING as holos. This polish is no exception! Formula was great on this one as well. I used one coat, I learned from "Interrogation", with top coat and its perfect!

I need to get my hands on more from this collection because these polishes blew my mind! C&C is planning to open up shop again later this month, but I'm not sure what polishes will be included when they re-open, but a link to their store can be found here. If you want to keep up with restock info or new releases, be sure to follow C&C on instagram @chaosandcrocodiles and check out their blog Chaos And Crocodiles. Have you tried C&C before? Which ones are your favorites? Let me know in the comments below! I hope you enjoyed this post! Until next time, happy polishing!

KB Shimmer Swatch And Review

Well hello there readers! Thanks for stopping by again! Today I have some KB Shimmer polishes to share with you. I'm really so in love with KB Shimmer! Every polish I own is amazing! The formulas are always great, the colors are beautiful, and the glitters are so fun! So let's not delay, and get straight to the polish!

First up is "Hugs And Wishes" which is a light lavender crème polish that leans a little blue. It is no secret that my phone HATES light purple polishes and can never pick up the true color. The bottle in my picture is a little more accurate than my nails. My camera picked up much more of the blue so it appears much darker. The formula on this was great as are all of the crèmes I own from KB Shimmer. I used two coats plus top coat for my picture.

Next up is "Kiss And Spell" which is a fun glitter topper for Halloween that pairs well with "Hugs And Wishes". This polish is packed with lots of fun Halloween related glitters. Orange, purple, yellow, and neon green stars, orange and black circles and hexes, and purple, neon green, and yellow hexes as well. The formula on this was good. I didn't have to do too much fishing for the stars because there is just SO many! I did turn my bottle upside down for a few minutes before use though to make sure I was able to easily get plenty of stars. I decided to do one dabbed coat of "Kiss And Spell" over "Hugs And Wishes" and I love it!

The last polish I have to share with you today is my favorite of the three, "Up And Cunning", which is a deep teal, linear holographic polish. Absolutely GORGEOUS!! This is the first holo I own from KB Shimmer, but I'm thinking I need to buy more because this one is fabulous! Formula was great! I used three coats with top coat, but I could have gotten away with two. So, so, so pretty!

Sincerely Polish Simply Enchanted Collection

Hello my amazing readers! Man, how has a month slipped by me since my last post? This baby is gonna be here before I even know it! With that being said though, today I have a beautiful post for you that features the gorgeous polishes from Sincerely Polish and the Simply Enchanted collection. Each polish is inspired by an iconic Disney Princess, with the exception of "Simply Enchanted". These polishes have so much sparkle that its hard to capture it in every pic, but I tried my best. So without any further delay, let's get to the polish!

First up, of course, is "Ariel". This was obviously the first polish I reached for because of my extreme love for Ariel, and I'm in love with it! "Ariel" is a glitter packed polish, featuring turquoise, aqua, green, and silver glitters, as well as crystal red, crystal purple, and tiny gold holographic glitters, all in a shimmering sheer pearly base. So much beautiful sparkle, that perfectly captures Ariel. There is so much glitter in this polish that it did end up a little on the thick side, but a couple drops of polish thinner helped immensely. I did two coats of "Ariel" alone with top coat, and then layered one coat with top coat over Marbles For Polish "Mermaid Summer". I really enjoyed this layered over another color and the base colors are endless for that!

Next up is my second favorite Disney Princess, "Belle". This beautiful gold glitter polish also features iridescent glitters, rainbow flakies, and rose gold flakies all in a shimmering sheer pearly base. Another stunner in this collection. Formula was good, I had no issues. I did two coats of "Belle" alone and also layered one coat over Sinful Colors "Unicorn". I loved this one on its own, and layered. It's beautiful either way.

Next up is "Aurora", which is a perfect pink glitter polish. Among all the gorgeous pink glitter are also rainbow flakies and iridescent glitters in a shimmering sheer pearly base. I'm in love with pink, so this polish is right up my alley. Formula was good on this one as well, and its also another one I enjoy on its own, or layered. I did two coats of "Aurora" alone, and then layered one coat over Essie "We're In It Together".

Next we have "Snow White" which has red, blue, and gold holographic glitters, as well as rainbow and iridescent flakies, and silver holographic glitters that are in a shimmering sheer pearly base. You only need to take one look at this polish to know that it is inspired by Snow White. The colors are perfect! Formula was good on this one. I feel like "Snow White" is not as packed with glitter as the other polishes, so if you're looking for full coverage, it would take a few coats to get it there. However, I really like the way this looks as just two coats alone. I did that and also layered two coats over Wet N Wild "A Blank Canvas".

Next up is "Cinderella" which has blue and silver holographic glitters, along with iridescent flakies, all in a shimmering sheer pearly base. I really love this polish too. Formula was good and I love this one alone or layered as well. I did two coats alone, and then layered one coat over Sinful Colors "Cinderella".

Last of the princess inspired polishes is "Jasmine" which is a beautiful combo of turquoise and gold holographic glitters in a shimmering sheer pearly base. This polish is perfect for me since turquoise is another of my favorite colors, and this polish has plenty of turquoise glitter. Formula was good on this one as well. I did two coats of "Jasmine" alone, and then layered one coat over Essie "Naughty Nautical". "Jasmine" really gives a beautiful sparkle to "Naughty Nautical" and I'm really in love with that combo.

Last of the Simply Enchanted polishes is its namesake "Simply Enchanted" which has holographic dust, pink and micro purple flakies, and iridescent glitters in the same shimmering sheer pearly base as the others. This polish is only available if you purchase the full size collection set or gift set. It is not for individual sale. I'm in love with the delicateness of this polish. Surprisingly I love it on its own, just as much as layered over another color, even though your nail line is clearly visible with this one. It's just absolutely gorgeous! Formula was also good on this one. The layering options are literally endless with this one, because it will add a gorgeous sparkle and shimmer to any color you choose. I did two coats of "Simply Enchanted" on its own and layered one coat over Sinful Colors "Sweet Tooth".

Well, what are your thoughts on this collection? I'm in love with it, and I'm glad I went with the entire collection to be able to get my hands on "Simply Enchanted" too. It's just so versatile and gorgeous. I think my favorites from this collection besides "Simply Enchanted" are "Ariel", "Belle", and "Aurora". I really do love them all though. If you are looking to purchase any of these polishes, they're all currently sold out except for "Cinderella". If you want "Cinderella" you can purchase her from Karen's shop by clicking on the link here. The best way to get info on the restock of the rest of the collection is to follow on Instagram @sincerelypolish or to like their Facebook page here. I hope you enjoyed today's post! Until next time, happy polishing!
