DazzleGlaze The Wild Hunt Collection

*press sample*

Hello readers!! Today's post features a brand new collection from DazzleGlaze that will be releasing Friday October 16th. The Wild Hunt Collection is inspired by the popular Norse myth of the Wild Hunt, where a band of phantom figures travel across the sky with horses and hounds in pursuit of prey. I really love this collection for this time of year because there are plenty of fall/winter type polishes that can be used a lot in the next few months. So, let's get to the polish and not wait any longer for the pretties.

*There are 8 polishes in this collection so this post is pic heavy with two of them being thermals*

First up is "Fiery Hellequin" which is a bright orange jelly polish with orange and gold holo glitters. This polish is a great orange for fall/Halloween and it is packed with glitter. Formula was great here. I only needed two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "Phantom Hoofbeats" which is a deep purple, nearly black, jelly polish with orange and purple holo glitters. This polish was the first polish to grab my attention when I was unwrapping this set. It definitely screamed Halloween to me and I believe its perfect for that, as well as any time of the year. The formula here was great as well. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "Cloud Riders" which is a light coppery pink shade with micro-holographic shimmer throughout. I really like this one for a neutral polish. This would be great to wear to those jobs who just don't understand your need to express yourself through your nails ;-) The formula was great, smooth and easy to apply. I used three coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is probably my favorite from the collection "Spectors of the Sky", which is  a black base with a purple shift and linear holo finish. I'm dying over the beautifulness of this polish. All that shifty, holo-y, sparkly goodness! You just can't beat it! Formula was great here as well. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "Ghostly Chariot", which is a dark gold polish with gold shimmer throughout and a metallic finish. This polish would be the perfect gold to use in some Christmas mani's this year! Formula was good, I almost could have gotten away with one coat because it is super pigmented. However, the metallic finish on this polish does show some brush strokes, so I added a second coat to get those to smooth out a little bit more. But it is so shiny! I love it! I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "The Howling Hunt", which is a bright red, leaning towards raspberry jelly polish with holographic shimmer and glitter. Yay red! Another perfect polish to be used in some Christmas manis this year! Formula on this one was great as well. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is the first of the two thermals in this collection, "Misty Shadows", which is a shimmery thermal that changes from a dark forest green when cold, to a champagne/gold when warm. I really love the colors in this polish. I don't have any thermals that have this color combo so I am super excited to add this one to my collection. Formula was great and easy to work with. One coat probably would have been enough, but I went with two just to be sure I had plenty of the shimmery glitters on my nails. This one also reminds me of Christmas time colors :-) I used two coats and added top coat for my pictures.

The last polish in this collection is the second thermal "Crossing The Moon", which is a flakie thermal that changes from dark gray when cold to a light white/silver when warm. This polish is perfection. I love the dark gray to silver change. I don't know why is reminds me of winter, but it does, and living in Vegas I miss winter a lot, so this polish makes me happy. Great formula here as well. I also could have probably gotten away with one coat, but again I used two coats just to be sure I got all of the flakie goodness on my nails. So, two coats with top coat for my pictures.
