Cupcake Polish Luau Collection Partial Review

Hello readers! Today's post is a little behind. I wanted to post this on Sunday when the new Luau collection from Cupcake Polish released, but my oldest started Kindergarten yesterday and we had a pretty busy weekend. So here it is! I have three of the six polishes to show you today, so let's get to it!

Hula Do You Love? is a red, orange leaning linear holographic polish with gold shimmer. Formula on this one was great and easy to apply. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Sand By Me is an orange linear holographic polish with pink shimmer. Formula was great here as well. Smooth, easy application. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures which actually surprised me. I was expecting to have to do three coats with this orange, as most orange and yellows that I own need at least three coats. So it was a nice surprise to only need two.

Lei Me Down is a purple holographic polish with blue shimmer. I have purple holos, but I love the added blue shimmer here. It gives it something extra to have it stand out from the others in my collection. Formula was great here too. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

My final thoughts for these polishes? I love me some holographic polishes, but there are only so many options for how many colors you can do. The fact that Sara added the shimmer to these though makes me happy because it gives something extra to colors that may or may not have been done before. So I love that. If you love any of these polishes, they are available in the Cupcake Polish shop here, and they are $13 each. Make sure you are following Cupcake Polish on Instagram, @cupcakepolish or Facebook here to keep up with all new releases, and to see swatches of the rest of the collection. I hope you enjoyed today's post. Thank you so much for reading! Until next time, happy polishing!

Glisten & Glow Experience The Islands Partial Collection Review

Hello loves! Today I have for you two polishes from Glisten & Glow's Experience The Islands collection. Indie cremes are my favorite!! I want them all!! I love that Jill is doing cremes! So let's get to it!

ATV In Aruba is described as a fuschia crème/berry pink. So in love with this one. The formula on this was absolutely amazing! I did two coats with top coat, but I barely had to do a second coat. it was almost a one coat crème polish.... one coat!! Price for this one is $7.50.

Snorkel In St. Thomas is described as a turquoise crème/Cyan blue. This one was hard for me to get color accurate. I tried everything I knew to do, but it still came out a little darker than it really is. In my mani swatch, the bottle is more color accurate than my nails. This is a gorgeous blue though. Formula was great on this one as well. Two coats with top coat were used for full opacity. This one is priced at $7.50 as well.

Different Dimension Pretty Nauti Partial Collection Review

Hello readers!! I am back from a much needed break! I took some time off to spend with my family and take a vacation, so I haven't posted much recently. However, I attended this year's Cocktails & Colors event during Cosmoprof in Vegas and I have PLENTY of new for you all! I'm happy to be back and if you are reading this, then thank you for sticking around! <3

First up I am sharing a few polishes from the new Pretty Nauti collection from Different Dimension. Nautical polish? Right up my alley! All of these polishes are currently available in the Different Dimension shop here. Let's get started!

Boaty Call is a teal holographic polish with added shimmers. Formula was really nice here. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures. Price for this beauty is $12.

Ship Happens is a white based crelly with blue and green glitters and an added green shimmer. I'm so happy that I am starting to see more crelly polishes again. I need them to make a FULL comeback, because I am in love with them all. The added shimmer in this one makes it even better. Formula was great and easy to work with. I used three thin coats with top coat. This polish is currently on sale for only $5!! Go get it!

Lastly, Pier Pressure is a glitter polish that includes silver holographic glitter and glitters that resemble broken sea glass, all in a shimmery holographic base. This one was hard for me to capture because it has SO much sparkle! Its absolutely stunning in person! Formula was pretty good on this one, even with all the glitter packed into it, it still had a pretty smooth application on the first coat. I used a little more of a dab application for the second coat to get good coverage and that was all it took! Two coats with top coat! The price for this one is $10.
