Glisten & Glow Cocktails Anyone? Round 2

*press sample*

Hello readers!! Today I have more HOLO for you!! Jill from Glisten & Glow has added 8 more mega holos to her Cocktails Anyone? Collection and I have all 8 to share with you today! These new polishes will be releasing on Friday September 4th at 7pm EST in the Glisten & Glow shop here. So be sure you pick your favorites and be ready to drool over these 8 new mega holos! Let's get to the holooooooooo!!

*Warning This Post Is VERY Pic Heavy!*

First up is "Sloe Gin Fizz", which is a lighter red with a tiny bit of pink, linear holographic polish. I painted this beauty onto my nails and I'm pretty sure that I said "WOW" out loud. My husband may or may not have looked at me a little crazy. This red/pink holo is stunning and I love how it looks with my pale skin tone. Great formula! I used two coats plus top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "Purple Haze", which is a light purple with a hint of grey tone linear holographic polish. I really like this because it's not a typical purple polish that you would normally see. Also, anytime I see the name "Purple Haze", I immediately think of Abita Purple Haze which is a beer that is consumed religiously in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where my husband went to college. Geaux Tigers! ;-). Formula was great on this one as well. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "Rum & Coke", which is a gorgeous chocolate brown linear holographic polish. I love this polish because it literally looks just like Coke on my nails. lol. Maybe I'm weird, but it does. Formula was great on this one as well. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "Fireball Cider", which is a golden yellow linear holographic polish. I'm not normally a huge fan of yellow polish, but I'm digging this one! It's not a bright yellow or mustard yellow, but a beautiful in between the two gold. Formula was good on this one as well. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "Long Island Iced Tea", which is a lighter brown linear holographic polish. Another great holo brown for fall in my opinion. This entire collection is great for fall, but I think that this one is one of my favorites out of the 8. Formula was great here as well. I used three thin coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "Electric Lemonade", which is a bright green linear holographic polish. I thought for sure when I saw this color that it was going to be a favorite and I was right. It's so pretty and really stands out among the other polishes as a brighter fall color. Formula was great on this one as well. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures. This one is so pigmented that it was really close to being opaque in just one coat, but it still needed a second thin coat to completely cover the nail. Also, my sun pictures pull more blue than green. The indoor pictures are more true to color.

Next up is my number one favorite from this round, "Roscato Berry Splash", which is a GORGEOUS burgundy linear holographic polish. With the first stroke of the brush when applying this beauty, I was instantly in love! I will be using this one SO much this fall. Formula was great on this one, just like the others. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Lastly, the final polish in this round of the collection is "Blue On Blue", which is a steel blue linear holographic polish. This is another beautiful color in this collection and I love how its a blue that fits in well for fall. Another great formula on this one. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Lastly, I wanted to do a couple comparison pictures because in the bottles, or even in my swatches, a couple of them could almost look similar. I wanted to do these just so that you could see side by side that they are definitely different.... and yes, you really do need them all! :-)

Here is "Blue On Blue" and "Purple Haze" side by side. I have "Blue On Blue" on my pointer and ring fingers, and "Purple Haze" on my middle and pinkie fingers.

This swatch shows "Rum & Coke" on my pointer and ring fingers, and "Long Island Iced Tea" on my middle and pinkie fingers.

Lastly I wanted to compare "Peach Bellini" from round 1 of the Cocktails Anyone? collection and "Fireball Cider" from Round 2. I have "Peach Bellini" on my pointer and ring fingers and "Fireball Cider" on my middle and pinkie fingers.
