Sea Lore Polish Villainous Vanessa & Utterly Ursula

Oh boy!! Today I have for you two beautiful polishes from the wonderful Sea Lore Polish! This set is sold as a duo in Jamie's shop for $20 in full size only. I had to have this duo for more than one reason.... First, because Sea Lore Polishes have never disappointed me and two, because I need any and all things Little Mermaid... It's an addiction that I just can't help. Almost as bad as my polish addiction lol. So of course when you put the two together, might as well just take my money lol. So here we go!

First up is Villainous Vanessa. This is a gorgeous purple that has a blue shift to it. It is the perfect base for the second polish in this duo, but it's so pretty on it's own as well as long as you don't mind a little Visible Nail Line (VNL). There are only a few polishes that I own where I don't care that there is VNL because it just works and this one is now in that group. The formula is good. Dry time is average. Shown below is two coats without a topcoat.

Next up is the amazing glitter topper in this set named Utterly Ursula. This mix has small black, white and purple glitters, as well as black dots and white shreds. Also in this polish is a beautiful purple shimmer!! I absolutely am in love with this glitter topper!! You haven't even heard the best part... It also GLOWS IN THE DARK!! I'm obsessed with glow in the dark too.... I'm starting to see an obsession with a lot of things these days haha. Anyway, the glow is best captured when charged by UV light, but once charged it glows purple! Formula was easy on this one as well. Glitters came out easy and lay flat on the nail. Dry time was average on this as well. Shown below is two coats of Utterly Ursula over two coats of Villainous Vanessa with a top coat.

(Check out that shimmer baby!)

Polish TBH Pumpkin Pasties

Today I have for you a GORGEOUS fall glitter topper from Polish TBH's Diagon Alley collection called Pumpkin Pasties. Chrissy's son Nicky put this glitter blend together and I think he did an amazing job! He'll be rollin in the fireworks and diamonds for sure!! I am in love with this polish. I paired it with Orly Buried Alive and it's absolutely stunning!! This would be a great glitter topper for lots of different fall colors and I'm excited to play with it over the next couple months. My pictures are two coats of Buried Alive with one coat, yes, ONE coat of Pumpkin Pasties. It's packed with so many beautiful glitters that that's all it takes is one! Glitters include white and black bar glitters, multiple sizes of white and black hexes as well, hot orange hexes, light and dark pink glitters, and different types of gold metallic glitters. Basically a whole lot of beautiful awesomesauce!  Application and formula, as per usual with Polish TBH polishes, was great! There was no clumping or dragging with the glitters. You end up with a very nice variety of glitter on every nail and it's just fantastic. I think the pink glitters really make this one unique! Great job Nicky!! Let's let these pictures speak for themselves now shall we?!? :)

So once again I have found another Polish TBH polish to add to the top of my favorites list. I'm finding that list is starting to grow a little out of hand with the amazing polishes Chrissy keeps coming up with. Chrissy's polishes range anywhere from $8-$12 for full size. Make sure you check out Polish TBH's shop on big cartel here. Also look for them on Facebook, and make sure you follow them on Instagram @polishtbh for any updates, new colors, and restock info. Chrissy is coming up on her One year anniversary very soon and she has some gorgeous new polishes to celebrate it. So run on over and follow all the Polish TBH your little heart desires!! Thanks for reading and please, leave comments and if you really enjoy my posts, make sure to follow via GFC or subscribe by email!! Love you guys!!

Polish TBH Thestral & Amortentia

Well my loves, I'm sorry I've been Mia but I have been on vacation. Thought I'd get on my phone and do a blog post. If you're viewing this on a computer I apologize if things look a little out of whack. I haven't figured out how to edit my posts from my phone like I do on the computer, but I will fix it when I get back to my comp. :) today I have two lovelies from Polish TBH's diagon alley collection. Thestral and Amortentia :) read on my dears!

First up is Thestral. I love this polish. It reminds me of her polish "Midnight" but much better in my opinion :) Thestral is a black jelly based polish with lavender, holo, and black hexes along with tons of micro silver glitters as well. This polish was created by her oldest son Mikey and he absolutely nailed it. Formula was great! Two easy coats, no fishing for glitters and it's so squishy! :) Dry time was average and one coat of top coat really pulls it all together. I love, love, LOVE it!!

Next up is Amortentia! This polish is so delicate and pretty and it's so versatile. It's a glitter topper so the color options are numerous. Here I put one coat of Amortentia over two coats of China Glaze Seaspray. Amortentia has such a pretty glitter combination made up of micro scattered holo, pink, grey and multi sized white glitters. The next time I wear this I'll wear it over a light pink I think :) application on this one was also great, and seeing as this is one coat of Amortentia, glitter distribution is great. The lovely Chrissy will make me go broke I swear! Lol she keeps coming out with amazing polishes and I can't help but feel the need to own them all!! Again, all pictures are one coat of Amortentia over two coats of Seaspray.

I hope you enjoyed these two polishes and reading my review. If you liked it, make sure you follow via GFC or subscribe via email. Also make sure you check out Polish TBH on Facebook and Instagram (@polishtbh) for news and updates. If you enjoy these polishes you can purchase them here. You won't regret it! Thanks for reading loves!! <3

Bliss Polish Behind Closed Doors Collection

I'm so incredibly late with this post... Blogging isn't as easy as I thought it was gonna be for me haha. Anyway, it's here now and it is Bliss Polish's latest collection called Behind Closed Doors, which is roughly based on the book series 50 Shades of Grey. This collection is so amazing! All of the polishes dry to a suede finish and take on a whole new beautiful life with top coat. I'll admit when I first saw some of the early swatches for these I didn't think I was going to like any of them without top coat, but let me just tell you.... I ended up REALLY liking most of them that way. Pictures just don't do the suede finish justice enough!! All of my pictures are two coats of the polish on it's own without and then with top coat. Please make sure you check out Bliss Polish because trust me, you do NOT want to miss out on these babies!! <3 Full size polishes retail for $8 and minis retail for $5.

First up is "Bite", a dark russet red. This color surprised me big time! I didn't think that I was much of a dark red girl, but when I put this baby on, I fell in love! And when I applied top coat... I died! It's so gorgeous and shimmery when that top coat is applied. See for yourself!

Next is "Tease" which is a beautiful hunter green. This was probably my least favorite color without a top coat, but I loved it SOOO much with top coat!! All of these polishes have such a gorgeous shimmery glitz to them with that top coat. Love it!

Now here we have a top contender in this set, which is "Please". "Please" is a dark plum purple that is to DIE for! I absolutely loved this one both ways! Bring out that beautiful shimmer with top coat if suede isn't your thang!

Here is "Lick", which is a dark denim blue with beautiful holo shimmer when top coat is applied. This one is DEFINITELY my favorite one with top coat. It's absolutely stunning! I wish the sun was cooperating the day I did these swatches so I could show you an amazing sun shot because it's seriously gorgeous!

Without top coat

This next one here surprised me as I did not think I would like it without top coat either, but I freakin LOVE it! This is "Spank", a medium toned nude color. This is just an amazing color all around! I will definitely rock this baby with and without top coat often!

Last but not least is "Cuffed", a light grey polish that will make you want to buy this entire set just to get this polish. "Cuffed" is only available right now when purchasing the whole set and it comes as a bonus polish. Trust me when I say, you need it! :) I've been searching for a lovely gray polish and this my friends, this is it!

So there you have it! The entire Bliss Polish, Behind Closed Doors collection. I love every single one of the polishes in this collection! Yvette did an amazing job! The formula on these is flawless! I had absolutely no issues with application. I did have to take some time shaking and rolling these babies when I first got them, but they had been laying on their side for nearly two weeks because I was on vacation and didn't open them right away, so the glitters settled on one side, naturally right!? But the work was totally worth it because these are gorgeous! Make sure to check out Bliss Polish's store here and be sure to follow @blisspolish on Instagram to keep up with all things Bliss, including restocks and new polishes! Trust me! You won't regret it! Thanks for reading!! <3

Bliss Polish Breaking Bad Collection

Hello my beautiful lacquer lovers. Today on the blog for you I have a new indie brand Bliss Polish  and I am lucky enough to be one of her Bliss Babes as she calls us :) So today's swatches are from her Breaking Bad collection that are sold in her store for $8 for a full size. Les Geaux!! (its an LSU Tigers thing ;-P) lol

.:: Credit for collage goes to Yvette of Bliss Polish ::.

First up is Cooking. Cooking is a mustard yellow polish with a subtle gold shimmer and micro holo glitters. The formula on this polish is great, very easy application, but I would definitely recommend base coats to prevent staining. Yes I swatched without a base coat and got some staining from it :-( boo!! That's okay though, lesson learned :-) Now I'm not a big fan of mustard yellow, so when I first put it on myself I didn't really like it color wise for myself. My picture makes it look AMAZING to me though haha. So if you like this kind of color its gorgeous. I'll probably just end up using it in nail art in the future though. Shown here is two coats on its own with top coat added.

Next up is Chemistry. Chemistry is a green polish with the same gold shimmer as Cooking and also the same micro holo glitters. I love green, but I don't have too many greens in my collection. This one is beautiful! Also easy application. Shown here is two coats with top coat added.

Next is Mr. White which is a white crelly type base that has white, grey, and holo hexes, plus some micro holo glitters as well. This polish is crisp and dainty and I love it. The glitters were easily transferred from bottle to nail with no fishing required. This is a bit sheer being a crelly type base so shown here is three coats on its own with top coat. Love it!

Next up is Jesse Pinkman, which is a pink crelly base with hot pink and holo hexes. Yvette lists this as a shimmer polish, but the shimmer looks like micro holo glitters as well. I could be seeing it wrong though lol I did swatch these a day after a Backstreet Boys concert where I met them, so I could still have been in a complete daze lol. None the less!! This is one of my faves of this collection. Also easy application and sheer, so this is three coats with top coat.

Last but not least..... my fave from this collection, Crystal Blue Persuasion. This polis is just, ugh-may-zing. So pretty! This is also a sheer crelly mix with teal and holo hexes, as well as micro holo glitters. Same great formula as the others and easy application. Shown here is three coats with top coat. Fave!! I mean just look at it... go ahead... LOOK!! lol

Well there you have it my loves. A new, very wonderful, indie brand and you NEED to check them out. Follow @blisspolish on Instagram for all updates and stock info. You can visit their store on storenvy here to purchase these babies for $8 a piece. If you enjoyed these colors, stay tuned for sometime next week probably as I will have a brand new collection from Bliss Polish called the Behind Closed Doors Collection. Excited to share those with you!! Thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed!!

Polish TBH Midnight and Harvest Apple Cuticle Oil

Well my initial goal was to post this two weeks ago as I was traveling to Alaska, but I wasn't feeling well from my first flight so I couldn't bring myself to keep blogging this post. Two weeks later I am now getting back to it. Sorry... I'm trying here lol, so I bring to you today a beautiful jelly polish from Polish TBH as well as her brand new Harvest Apple Cuticle Oil (I die every time I use it lol). So lets do it!

First I will give you a little review on Chrissy's new cuticle oil, in the scent Harvest Apple that is available in her shop now as well as a Good Morning Mocha scent. This Harvest Apple scent smells absolutely amazing. I've been using it for the past three weeks and I love it. I usually get hang nails quite a bit, in the past three weeks I've used it I haven't had a single one. It even helped heal one I had in a matter of a couple days. I love the bottle that it comes in. It makes it super easy to dispense and place one or two drops on each finger without having to use your fingers to rub it in. She may have different bottles for these now as the mocha cuticle oil I received this week came in a mini polish bottle. I carry it with me every where I go and put it on whenever I think about it. Sometimes 5 or 6 times a day. Okay, when it was that many a day it's usually just me putting it on just to smell it haha. Have I mentioned it smells amazing?!? Lol definitely try and get you some of this and even the mocha one because that one too smells AMAZING! Even the small size will last you a good while :) you won't regret it!

Next up I have a beautiful purple jelly polish, 'Midnight'. This purple jelly is a really dark purple, so dark it's almost black. In it it has different size hexes in blue holo, aqua, and silver. I layered it over a black to give it a little more depth and it really does remind me of a night sky with a bunch of stars. The application was easy and the dry time was actually really good as well. I've found myself to become a bit of a Polish TBH whore now haha and I have almost all of her polishes. This one ranks high on my list of Polish TBH faves. Shown here is one coat of midnight over black with a top coat. Next time I will try this on its own because the swatches I've seen on its own look amazingly squishy haha. Love it!

                                             (Midnight in my light box)

                                                     (Midnight in the Sun)

As with all Polish TBH polishes I've had on my blog, I highly recommend you check them out. The formulas on Chrissy's polishes are just perfection to me. No fishing for glitters, no clumping, streaking or dragging. I just love them. I am pretty sure that I will not use anything other than her cuticle oils now too because they are that awesome to me. So make sure you check out Polish TBH on Instagram and Facebook to keep up to date on new polishes, sales, and giveaways! Speaking of which, Chrissy is hosting a giveaway now on her facebook page so check it out! Her shop on Big Cartel will re-open on the 15th and it will be restocked :-)

Sea Lore Polish Popping Parrotfish & Jumping Jellyfish

Hello my loves! Today on the blog I have for you two beautiful polishes from one of my favorite indie brands Sea lore polish. I own quite a few Sea lore polishes now and that's because they are fabulous! So on the agenda today is "Popping Parrotfish" and "Jumping Jellyfish". Both of these polishes are from her Spring Seas Collection. So, here we go!

First we have "Popping Parrotfish". This polish has a mint creme base with a lot of different types and colors of glitters, including a green shimmer as well. I have recently (within the past few months) fallen in love with mint polishes. When I saw this baby, I knew I had to have it! The formula and application of this was great. I used three coats for my pictures with a top coat. When I use this again I will layer it over a mint polish so it wouldn't need that many. I like to save as much of my indies as I possibly can so I layer when at all possible :)

(Macro in the sun to show shimmer)

Next up we have "Jumping Jellyfish". This is a beautiful blue jelly with small circle and hex glitters. It also has blue micro flakies which are really pretty!! In my photos I did two coats of "Jumping Jellyfish" on it's own with a top coat. Normally I layer Jellies over a similar base color, but I wanted to show what it looks like on it's own for a better idea of the color and opacity. Application was easy as pie and even though in my macro shot it looks like the circle glitters on top of each other are sticking up, they aren't. Top coat smooths this polish out super easy. I love it!

(Macro shot to show the glitters)

Once again, Sea Lore Polish does not disappoint. I love all things aquatic so this line is fabulous to me seeing how all her polishes are based off that. :) Make sure you check out the Sea Lore shop here and follow them on Instagram and Facebook as well for all of the updates, restocks, and new lines :) I hope you enjoyed this post!!
