Dashing Housewife Polish Worth The Tan Lines Collection Swatch And Review

Hello dears!! I love when I have enough drive and enough swatches to make multiple posts so close together. I'm sure you guys enjoy it too, at least I hope so. I'm here to share with you today a brand new collection from Dashing Housewife Polish called "Worth The Tan Lines", that will be releasing today in her shop. This is DreAnn's summer collection and the polishes are not your typical summer polishes, but I enjoyed them all none the less. So let's take a closer look at each polish individually shall we?

First up is "One Hot Mama" which is a "hot pink base with purple shifting/flakes and blue glitters". Hello! I'm in love with this one. This is the only bright polish in this collection that you would think to find in a summer collection. The shifting flakies in this one are very subtle, but they're there and I think they add a nice touch to this polish. Formula and dry times would good. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "Caribbean Crush" which is a turquoise polish with blue to purple shifting flakies. LOVE! Pink and teal/turquoise/aqua polishes are some of my absolute favorites and this one does not disappoint. I think the flakies in this polish made my camera pick it up a tad more green than it is in person, but its still pretty close. Formula and dry time were good on this one as well. I used two coats with top coat for my pictures.

Next up is "Beachin' Blue" which is a bright blue polish with white squares and white and black hexes in various sizes. There is also a slight blue shimmer to this polish as well, which you can see better in the macro shot than my full mani swatch. I really like this blue. My camera picked it up a little bit darker. The bottle shows more color accurate in this swatch.  This polish reminds me of another one of my favorite polishes from Dashing Housewife Polish called "Razzle My Berries" which you can find a swatch and review of here if you missed it. They have different glitters, but the over all look is similar and I love them both. Formula and dry time were good on this as well. Two coats with top coat were used for my pictures.

Next up is one that I absolutely loved the name of, "Purple Hooter Shooter", which is a purple polish with turquoise flakes and a slight purple shimmer. Love the color combo here. Its absolutely perfect. The formula and dry time as usual, were great on this one as well. Two coats with top coat were used for my pictures.

Lastly from the "Worth The Tan Lines" collection is "Sterling Stud" which is a glitter topper polish with white and black glitters of various sizes with a lovely silver sparkle. I would like to go on the record and say that this is my favorite from this collection. It can be worn over so many different colors, or even on its own with a few coats. Its the versatility that I really enjoy. I decided to pair it with a bright summer polish for my pictures below. I used one coat of "Sterling Stud" over China Glaze "Thistle Do Nicely". I love it so much that I put this combo on all ten fingers after swatching. :-) Formula and dry time like all the others in this post were good as well.

Sincerely Polish Magical Friendship Collection Swatch And Review

Hey, hey, hey!! I'm back today with some more Mickey glitter toppers as well as a few more Disney inspired polishes from Sincerely Polish. I have the entire Magical Friendship collection to share with you. Once I purchased my first Mickey glitter polishes from Sweet Heart Polish I caved and had to have more so I snatched up this entire collection. If you missed my Sweet Heart Polish review you can see it here for more great Mickey glitter polishes. Let's get into this fantastic Disney inspired collection though shall we?

Up first is "Dear Mickey", which is a glitter topper that consists of red, black, and silver holo Mickey heads, red and white stars, yellow dots, and black hexes. This one was my favorite out of the six. It's absolutely all Mickey. Love it! Formula was good and dry time was good as well. I turned my bottle upside down for a few mins before applying to make sure the bigger glitters were easy to get to. I did two coats with placement of the Mickey glitters over an un-named color club gray with top coat for my pictures.

(Indoor Light Box)

Next up is "Love Always Minnie", which is a glitter topper that consists of pink and white Minnie (Mickey) glitters, matte winter white hexes, peach dots, pink hearts, light pink bows, and matte pink hexes. I love this polish as well. Just like "Dear Mickey", I think Karen captured Minnie very well with these glitters. Formula and dry time were good on this one as well. I turned my bottle upside down again with this one before use to get to the bigger glitters easier. I did two coats with a bit of glitter placement for the bigger glitters (Mickeys, bows and hearts) over Sinful Colors "Sweet Tooth" with top coat.

(Indoor Light Box)

Next is "Dashing Donald", which is a glitter topper filled with big matte blue hexes, white and yellow stars, yellow dots, light blue hearts and blue hexes. This one also screams Donald to me. I think it's safe to say that all of these polishes actually capture each of the characters they were inspired by perfectly. Karen just did amazing on pairing up glitters for all of them. This one was probably my second favorite out of the six. Formula and dry time were good. I did two coats with some glitter placement of the bigger glitters over China Glaze "Recycle" with top coat.

(Indoor Light Box)

Next up is the love of Donald's life "Darling Daisy", which is a glitter topper filled with daisy glitters, matte dark purple and purple hearts, matte pink bows, purple hexes, peach dots and purple dots. How stinking "darling" is this polish? It's got a lot of girly glitters in it which is perfect because Daisy is SUPER girly. There are quite a bit of bigger glitters in this one so I had a little difficulty getting this polish to go on by just brushing it on. Instead I put a little polish on a paper plate and placed all the glitters on my nails. I did the glitter placement over China Glaze "At Vase Value" with top coat.

(Indoor Light Box)

Next up is another of my favorites "Playful Pluto", which is a glitter topper filled with marigold hex glitters, white stars, matte green hexes, and circle dots. I love the black circle dots and how they automatically make me think of Pluto's nose. :-) Adorable! I did two coats with some placement of the stars and dots, just to have them where I wanted them on my nails. I used a base of Julep "Nadia" for my picture.

(Indoor Light Box)

Lastly we have "You're So Goofy" which is a glitter topper packed with orange shreds, light green shreds, orange hexes and blue stars. I don't know what it is about polishes with shred glitters, but I can never seem to apply them smoothly lol. I re did this swatch about three times before I was satisfied enough. There was plenty of glitter shreds in this polish which made them tend to stick together a little bit. Other than that though the formula and dry time were good on this one as well. I did two coats with placement of the stars over white.

(Indoor Light Box)

Overall I'm in love with this collection. As I stated Karen did an amazing job at capturing each character in these polishes. If you're wanting to purchase any of these, you can do so in Sincerely Polish's shop here. Make sure to follow them on Instagram @sincerelypolish and Facebook for all news and updates. Check out my social media sites as well which will be listed below. Let me know which ones were you favorites from this collection in the comments below. I hope you enjoyed this post my loves! Until next time, happy polishing!

Sweet Heart Polish Red, White, & Mickey And Disneyland Or Bust Swatch And Review

I'm back today with a fun and exciting post. Well, if you're a Disney freak like me, it'll be exciting lol. When the Mickey glitters started popping up in indie polishes I thought they were super cute and the Disney freak inside of me jumped up and down screaming "Buy all the Mickey indies!!", but my wallet won out over the Disney freak and I hadn't purchased any until I bought these two cute polishes from Sweet Heart Polish. I know, I know. Let out all your gasps of shock. I'm glad I finally caved though because they are so cute! So without any further delay, let's get to the polish!

The first polish I'm going to share with you is called "Disneyland Or Bust" and it's a clear glitter topper with different sizes of neon hex glitters, and of course black Mickey glitters. What brought me to Cassandra's shop was the second polish I'm sharing with you today, but when I got there and saw the neon in this one.... Well I couldn't check out without this baby in my cart. I'm a sucker for neon anything lately, and those sweet Mickey glitters combined with neon screamed "Buy me!" the second I saw it. Formula is good on this one. I did two dabbed coats with glitter placement for the Mickey glitters over Zoya "Trixie". Love it!

(Indoor Light Box Macro)

The second polish I'm sharing with you today is a new limited edition polish that will only be around for about a month. This polish is called "Red, White, & Mickey". It's also a glitter topper in a clear base with a variety of red, white, and blue glitters, holo bar glitters, holo red and blue Mickeys, and white Mickeys as well. I wish I was able to capture the holo Mickeys better in my swatches, I tried. Formula was also good on this one. I did two dabbed coats over black and placed the Mickeys where I wanted them. This is definitely a fun Fourth of July polish. I'm sure I'll be grabbing for it this year :-)

These were my first polishes from Sweet Heart Polish and I will for sure purchase from her again in the future. The polishes were cute and unique and formulas were perfect. If you'd like to purchase either of these polishes you can do so in their shop here. Also be sure to follow Sweet Heart Polish on Instagram @sweet_heart_polish and Facebook for all news and updates. Check out my social media outlets while you're at it! I'll list them below. Let me know what you think of these babies in the comments below. Laquerlicious Neon Glitter Toppers

Hello my loves! Today I have a post that is really long overdue, and should have been posted over a week ago. Life happens though and mine pretty much hated me last week. Enough about that though... It's here now and that's all the matters right?!? So today I am sharing with you these amazing neon glitter toppers from Laquerlicious. These polishes are bright and gorgeous and can be worn in many different ways in lots of different nail art techniques as well. So let's get to the polish!

First up is "Beat The Heat" which is a clear base glitter topper with neon pink and hot orange glitters as well as neon pink micro flakies. This one was my favorite... Because it's pink lol. Formula is great, even with all the glitter in this. Dry time was also really good. I used three dabbed coats of "Beat The Heat" on it's own with top coat for my picture below.

(Indoor Light Box)

Next up is my second favorite from this collection, "Lemon Limeade" which is a clear based glitter topper with neon yellow and green glitters, as well as neon green micro flakies. Absolutely gorgeous! Formula and dry time were great on this one as well. I used two dabbed coats of "Lemon Limeade" on it's own with top coat for my picture below.

(Indoor Light Box)

Lastly is "At The Lake", which is a clear base glitter topper with neon blue and purple glitters, as well as bright blue micro flakies. This makes me want to go swimming because the blue glitters are just that beautiful. Unfortunately in Vegas, I will not find a lake with crystal blue waters lol. Formula and dry time were the same as the others on this one. I used two dabbed coats of "At The Lake" on it's own with top coat for my picture below.

(Indoor Light Box)

If you enjoy neons and dense glitter toppers you need all of these beautiful babies. Michelle did an awesome job with these.
